Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Kvadrati uses cookies solely to operate the service's core functions — signing in, form security, and language selection. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
kv_access | sign-in — short-lived access token for authenticated requests | 15 minutes | strictly necessary, HttpOnly (not accessible to JavaScript) |
kv_refresh | keeps you signed in (renews your session without re-entering credentials) | 30 days | strictly necessary, HttpOnly (not accessible to JavaScript) |
| language preference cookie (sl/en) (pending verification — see note below) | remembers your chosen interface language | until cleared in your browser | strictly necessary |
Review note before publishing: the existence and exact name of the language cookie needs to be
confirmed once the language switcher in /web is finalized (language choice may currently be
expressed purely through the URL path — /en/... vs. the Slovenian default — with no separate
cookie; if no dedicated cookie exists, remove this row from the table before publishing).
All cookies listed above are for the service to function (sign-in, security, core functionality) — without them, you cannot normally sign in or use forms.
Kvadrati does not use: analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising cookies, social-media cookies, or any third-party cross-site tracking cookies. Any internal visit analytics (if introduced) operates without cookies and without storing personal identifiers.
Under the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), which transposes the EU ePrivacy Directive into Slovenian law, prior user consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary for a service the user has explicitly requested (e.g. for analytics, advertising, tracking).
Since this version of Kvadrati uses only the strictly necessary cookies listed in section 2 (sign-in, form security, language selection), no consent is required for them, and we therefore do not show a cookie-consent banner. We publish this cookie notice instead, as a disclosure of their use.
You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that blocking or
deleting the kv_access/kv_refresh cookies will require you to re-enter your sign-in details
on every visit (or prevent signing in altogether).
If we ever add non-essential cookies (e.g. for visit analytics or advertising), a prior consent banner will become mandatory before they are introduced — we treat this as a feature requiring legal review before launch, and will update this policy accordingly.
